A Letter From the Managing Editor
Welcome to the 2022 Harvest Journal!
As you read through these fiction and nonfiction student works, I truly hope that you are able to appreciate all of the hard work and dedication put into each piece by both authors and editors. We have a wide variety of submissions, from poems to research papers, with everything in between. Each author is brilliantly illustrating their unique voice, representing different backgrounds—as we have submissions from both students and alumni. In your perusal, you will find thought-provoking research papers debating modern concerns, delightful poems visiting the world of marshmallows, as well as several riveting fictional tales about the magic to be found in the forest. This journal accurately reflects the spirit, heart, and dedication of the student authors and editors of the 2022 ENGL 3453 Professional Editing class. We hope you enjoy reading each piece as must as we enjoyed editing it.
On behalf of all members of the Harvest editorial team and each student and alumni contributor, thank you for taking the time to support and engage our journal.
With joy,
Kali Saunders
Managing Editor
